Through the meetings, participants could share the results of various research activities carried out by professors of Hallym University and Hallym University Medical Center and learn the advanced knowledge and experiences from the Nagoya City University’s accumulated research results.

From the Nagoya City University, President Kenjiro Kohri, Dean Kiyofumi Asai, Hospital Director Takashi Joh, Dr. Makoto Michikawa, professor of biochemistry, Dr. Noriyuki Matsukawa, professor of neurology, Dr. Hideki Hida, professor of neurophysiology and brain science and Dr. Cha-Gyun Jung, associate professor of neurophysiology and brain science have attended the Hallym-Nagoya International Symposium.

In 2006, Hallym Hallym entered into an MOU with Nagoya City University to promote the mutual cooperation in the area of joint research, faculty exchange, student exchange and joint academic symposium. Since then, experts from Korea and Japan have shared knowledge and experiences by covering wide range of issues including aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
