Hallym Creates New HI

No.1643 Date2008-06-02 Hit 28137

Hallym University Medical Center(HUMC) has recently came up with its new hospital identity(HI) to improve its image that symbolizes a bright future. It was officially announced on May 27 this year.

Hallym () is defined as a group of best scholars. Han (), an imaginary bird, is able to fly higher than the others, and get a better and wider view of the world. It is symbolic of the founding philosophy of Hallym University which pursues elite education. In other words, the Han-Bie Spirit (), or its excellence in flight, embodies the very spirit of Hallym University. This symbol mark has therefore been chosen to visualize the spirit. 'HL', an acronym for the university which gives shape to a flying bird, symbolizes Hallym's outstanding people.

In particular, the initials, H and L, represent Humanity and Leadership, respectively. The elegant flight of a bird visualizes Hallym's outgoing image towards the world and the future. Reflecting the spirit of the university, the symbol mark of Hallym University Medical Center (HUMC) expresses integrity and warm-heartedness of its people in pink, and a will for true devotion and faithful treatment in gray which symbolizes accurate and scientific diagnoses. Such individual expressions are integrated into a simplified image that symbolizes a bright future for Hallym which has been aiming high in education.
