The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology specializes in the full range of diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the digestive tracts and liver such as functional gastrointestinal disorders, peptic ulcer, pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, hepatitis, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer and liver cancer.
We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic services through upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, cholangiopancreatography, and endoscopic ultrasonography as well as conventional CT and MRI.
Highly advanced endoscopic procedures performed at our department include endoscopic submucosal dissection for early gastric or colorectal cancer, removal of pancreatic or biliary ductal stone, and endoscopic stent therapy for incurable gastrointestinal cancers.
