The Department of General Surgery is staffed by surgeons specializing in the treatment of a wide spectrum of diseases divided into different specialties as follows.
- * Gastrointestinal surgery - gastric cancer, gastric ulcer, and esophageal disease
- * Colorectal surgery - colon and rectal cancer, hemorrhoids, anal fistula, perianal abscess, inflammatory bowerl disease, and constipation
- * Hepatobiliary and pancreatic Surgery - liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, gall stone and cholecystitis, intrahepatic stone, liver abscess, pancreatic cancer, and splenic disease
- * Breast surgery - breast cancer, benign breast disease
- * Endocrine surgery – thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal gland tumor
- * Vascular surgery – varicose vein, arteriosclerosis, Buerger's Disease , and lymphedema
- * Transplantation surgery – kidney transplantation
